A Different Person!

When we were in Redner's yesterday looking for sauce for our wings, a lady approached us and asked if we remembered her. My response was, 'No, but that's not saying much. I don't remember any one.' Hah! I looked to Chris for respite and he looked just as confused. It turned out she was the employee of a local dollar store we go into occasionally. She apparently quit a few weeks ago. Once she said that, I could place her. She then said when she was first approaching us she noticed Chris right away, but until she saw my face she thought he was with a different woman! Haha. Apparently I've lost that much weight. It was pretty flattering and she went on about it for awhile. No one else around me has really mentioned my weight loss at all. I'm usually the only one that brings it up. So, it was nice encouragement. I mean, sixty pounds is a lot, but sometimes it's easy to lose the sense of accomplishment when you look at how far you still have to go.

After talking about taking advantage of sales and loyalty offers last night I decided it was time to actually use my Wal-Mart app. I've been saying that I wanted to try their 'savings catcher' since this past October. Hahaha. My Aunt has saved like 100$ with it already. I'm going to try to add my Mom and grandmother's receipts too since they don't bother with technology. It's really easy to add the receipts to your account. You can either scan the QR code or you can type in the barcode number at the bottom. If anything was on sale/cheaper anywhere else they give you the difference that you can accumulate.

Piggy Tails

I am struggling hard to find energy today. There's so much I want to do. So many projects I could be taking on right now, and all I want to do is cuddle up in my blankies and take a damn nap. I don't even need Netflix or anything. Hell, writing this blog right now is taking up too much energy even. I tried coffee too.

Chris got home from work around two last night, and we stayed up until about five. I was up and down most of the morning from 7am on. At 11 I surrendered and stayed up. You'd think for as tired as I am I could get some damn sleep, but that's the kicker. If I give in and go take a nap I really won't sleep tonight, but probably even without a nap when it comes time for sleep I won't be able to. Stupid brain. At least it's not as bad as what it was pre-Tysabri. I would be sleep deprived to near the point of insanity. Hallucination inducing sleep deprived. It's not fun.

It's a Good Day for a Nap...

Chris is off to work already today. He had less than eight hours between his shifts. He didn't get much sleep, and I got even less sleep.

There's a serious nap in my future.

Started off the day straightening up around the house. I lost my balance picking up laundry and tipped over onto my ass. Chris heard the thud and asked if I was okay. The only thing really hurt being my pride I told him I was, but that he needed to get up and get ready for work. I'm pretty sure he wound up being a few minutes late, but in all fairness no one should really be scheduled like that.

Daisy and Tuxington are already settled in on the couch napping together. Daisy's snoring away. They're so stinking cute. But it just makes me want to settle in for a nap all the more.

....Not Even a Mouse

When Chris got home from work on Saturday we had Christmas part three! We headed over to his brother Clyde's house. Clyde was one of his groomsmen in the wedding. We took over their presents and hung out for awhile.

Clyde and Janelle gave us a pretty ornament for on our Christmas tree, and a handmade candy cane pin. Both were really pretty.

I even got to see two of my new nephews for a bit! They had lots to say about Star Wars. I really need to watch the movies so I have a clue what any one's talking about. I haven't seen a single one yet. Everyone really liked the candy I made too!

We hung out there for about two hours, and then headed home. Chris and I finally got the WiiU set up, and I finally got to work on writing these blog posts. We stayed up until about 2am. Him playing video games, and me watching as I blogged. I fell asleep a few times in between though.
